About Us

Noah's Ark is a non-profit, state licensed, preschool ministry serving children 3 years old through 5 years 11 months. We partner with our families to provide a setting where children can experience optimal growth and development and can explore, play and learn in nature with multiple opportunities to learn about God and His never-ending love.

Our Mission

We commit ourselves as a people of faith to provide a loving and caring learning environment, foster Christian attitudes and values, nurture, shelter, and encourage spiritual, cognitive, physical, social, and emotional growth, celebrate the great diversity of all God's children, experience community with children and families as an extension of the faith and practices of the First Presbyterian Church.

Nature Focused

Nature focused learning encourages healthy behaviors and improves physical, social, and emotional development. Learning through play promotes language, problem solving and mathematical-thinking skill, all while building connections between children and their natural world.

What are parents saying?

  • “The staff was so friendly to our son and other small children who are not enrolled in NAPS yet. Thank you for making it a great first for our entire family!”

  • “Want to say thank you for ALL you do. So very thankful that our kids get to be part of such an amazing preschool.”

  • “We have loved NAPS on and off for the last 10 years. We will miss it and will keep referring others to your wonderful program"

  • “We loved our experience at NAPs! Our only regret is not having started sooner. The staff are so professional, knowledgeable, and experienced while also being warm and respectful toward the kids and understanding of their development. The emphasis on nature/outdoor based learning is what drew us to NAPS initially and all the time spent outside was definitely the highlight for our son. Noah’s Ark was highly recommended to us by friends and now that we’ve experienced it, we will certainly recommend it to others.”

  • “I would never refer anywhere else. Absolutely the best program there is for our children.”

  • “I am so pleased with the care my son has received at Noah's Ark. I was very nervous about him starting school with his severe food allergy but Noah's Ark has went above and beyond for my child. Thank you for keeping my child safe and including him. The communication by and with his teachers has been outstanding! We love Noah's Ark!”

  • Thankful to the classroom teachers for an easy transition into preschool life. We are blessed in knowing our son is safe, loved and learning everyday!
